EV Everyday Ventures
Cambridge, Massachusetts

A small holding company for useful obsessions.

Everyday Ventures builds and operates companies at the intersection of AI, movement, and education. We keep the portfolio small, own what we run, and hold things long enough for them to compound.

Feral Bots

AI companions raised in households — not configured, raised — plus the operating practice around them: a production fleet of agents across multiple machines and model families, holding real responsibilities for families and small businesses. In production for over two years.

Eastern Acrobatics & Circus

A circus school in Cambridge: acrobatics, aerial, and partner work for adults and youth, plus performance labs and summer programming. Where the founder trains daily — investment with skin, quite literally, in the game.

A full-body mobility tool backed by 1,200+ Kickstarter supporters, developed with Om Life by Janice Liou. Stretch, strengthen, recover — a physical product with a decade of daily-use durability behind it.

Experiments run with the Feral Bots fleet — multi-model research panels, education tooling, food-systems and property models. Some graduate into the portfolio. Most exist to teach us something.

Approach

Own the whole loop.

We build, operate, and hold. No hand-offs to someone else's roadmap. The companies stay small enough that craft survives contact with operations.

Compound the quiet assets.

Memory, relationships, and operating exhaust are the balance sheet nobody audits. Every venture is designed so that using it makes it better.

Agreements over sandboxes.

With people and with AI alike: shared control, clear norms, and a repair procedure beat walls and supervision. Years of fleet operation back this up.

Austin is a therapist and a technologist, which turns out to be one job: understanding how systems of people — and now, people and AI — actually hold together. Two decades of software at places like Yahoo! and D.E. Shaw, a clinical license, a circus habit, and a working fleet of AI agents that runs much of what you're reading about.

The portfolio looks eclectic until you notice the pattern: every venture is a practice of trust under load — between partners on a mat, between a body and a wheel, between a household and its AI.
